SnapEDA (YC S15) is looking for a Head of Growth to join our growing team as we pursue our mission to help engineers design electronics faster.

A bit about who we are

SnapEDA is a search engine used by over 1 million professional engineers to design electronics faster. These engineers are creating everything from medical devices to space technologies.  We’re a team of 30 who pride ourselves on our passion, resourcefulness, and curiosity. We have a bias towards action and making an impact, both individually, and as a team. 

What you will be working on

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Head of Growth to help turbo-charge our website traffic and engagement. You will be responsible for defining and meeting the company’s growth plan and matrix, growth hacking, management, and nurturing, coordinating plans of sales and product development, and strategizing on how to drive business development, revenue, and profit. Your responsibilities will include focusing on aggressively driving up our traffic, awareness, and engaging with professional engineers. We are expecting you to have experience and a big passion for digital technologies, various digital marketing channels, communication, development, and sales.


  • Create ambitious content plans to boost our SEO and social media efforts

  • Develop, manage, and execute our marketing editorial calendar, from social media, to press, to content marketing, tradeshows, advertising, and any other ways to generate awareness

  • Create content as needed (tutorials, blogs, videos, etc.)

  • Report weekly to celebrate the social and content wins on our team. Communicate the key marketing KPIs using analytics tools (like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.). The ability to comfortability present data and report to the team is important

  • Running ads, based on an understanding of customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition costs

  • Manage and grow our bi-weekly newsletter

  • Propose creative projects that attract prospects and convert leads to drive traffic/signups on SnapEDA

  • Creating new landing pages

  • A/B testing messaging to better convert users

  • Use new or existing strategies that retain current customers


  • At least 2 years of experience in a growth-focused role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English

  • High attention to detail and superior organizational skills

  • Quick learner

  • Strong technical skills

  • Appreciation for metrics and data

  • Sense of urgency and resourcefulness

  • Experience and desire to work with a start-up, in a fast-paced environment, and in a remote, distributed team

  • Ability to form strong relationships and empathize with the customer
